Become quiet inside

Dear friends,

Om shanti.  What does it mean to stay in silence and to keep your consciousness completely quiet?  It is one thing to not come into sound, but what is important is learning how to become quiet inside, to become introverted.  When we cultivate introversion, we prefer to be in solitude, and we become detached from everything outside.  We may be in an external setting, we may even be in the presence of other people, but inside we are separate and still.

When you are able to do this, you will be able to serve the world through the power of your silence.

With love,

BK Janki

ruuja khakare:  You can practice raj yoga at home.  Call your local center and they will guide you.

Jatinder:  Silence is a quality of mind it is not necessarily being quite in words.  If you have a silent mind you are connected with your spiritual self and or God and your words will carry meaning.

Thanks. This is the way that I feel frecuently when I stay with a lot of people talking about problems or any theme. I feel that I don't belong here.
