Cooking with Brad: Guacamole

December 31, 2009

Brad prepares one of his healthiest and favorite recipes: traditional Mexican guacamole. Guacamole is a heart-healthy dish with quality oils: Brad adds plenty of lime juice (which would make it last longer if it didn't taste so good!).

I tried your recipe here as exactly as possible--took a list to the grocery store with me. It turned out wonderfully. It is some of the best I've ever had.

This afternoon, I had it with whole-wheat crackers, and this evening, it was supper with a slice of really dark cheese toast.

I used hing as well since I have been into Indian cooking for some years now.

This is going to be a permanent part of my foods list.

Thanks,
Larry
