This version of vegetarian pizza is a most requested and favorite locally.

Ingredients

For the dough

  1. 3 cups all-purpose flour to make 1 large pizza 12”
  2. 2 teaspoon sugar
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 teaspoon yeast
  5. 3 tablespoon oil

For the sauce

  1. 1 tablespoon oil
  2. 2 tablespoon Italian season mix
  3. 2 X 8oz tomato puree
  4. 1 tablespoon crushed pepper
  5. 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  6. 1 tablespoon paprika
  7. Salt to taste

Directions

    For the dough

    1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
    2. Next add the oil and mix well
    3. Gradually add warm water to make a soft dough ball
    4. Cover and leave for about 2 hours
    5. Once its risen, take out of the bowl and make a ball
    6. Flour your worktop and roll out to the size of your pizza pan
    7. Place it on the pizza pan

    For the sauce

    1. In a pan add the oil and Italian season mix
    2. Mix for a few minutes to infuse the season mix
    3. Add the tomato puree and mix
    4. Add pepper, paprika and sugar
    5. Add salt taste
    6. Cook for 20 minutes until thick
    7. Once cooled spread the sauce on the pizza
    8. Sprinkle some grated cheese on the pizza
    9. Add the toppings of your choice
    10. Sprinkle some more cheese over the top
    11. Drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil over the pizza
    12. Put the pizza in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes

    Very nice! What do you think about using whole wheat flour? I tried and it tastes amazing and has more fiber.

    Reciepes look interesting n very nutricious,but the sound is not audible at all.Any suggestions
